Busch Gardens Christmas Celebrations 2017
Busch Gardens holds their “Christmas Town Celebration” from just after Thanksgiving on November 24 until December 31, most Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6 pm to 11 pm plus other selected nights.
In previous years, Christmas Town was a separately ticketed event but from 2014 onwards it has been included in the normal day admission
In previous years it was a separately ticketed after-hours event but from 2014 it has been included in the regular park admission and features 20 new Christmas attractions, shows and rides plus shops and restaurants.
The park takes on a festive holiday look and you get to see real snow drifts, snowmen, penguins and photo opportunities with Santa Claus in “Santa’s House”.
New from 2016 is the “Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland” where you get the chance to meet Rudoplh and some of his friends.
The “Christmas Town Village” offers plenty of retail therapy and Christmas food treats like eggnog, apple cider, hot chocolate and you can even enjoy a buffer with Mrs. Claus at “Mrs. Claus’ Family Feast”.
Some of the signature thrill rides like Falcon’s Fury, Cheetah Hunt and SheiKra are open and for something a little more calming, you can circle the park on a vintage-style steam locomotive, the “Christmas Town Express” whilst enjoying traditional carols or experience the “Jingle Bell Junction” for younger children,
The Crown Colony Restaurant is transformed into a musical light show “Carol of the Bells” and you can join the Sesame Street characters at the “Sesame Street Season of Fun”.
At the Stanleyville Theater there is “Angels of Peace: A Christmas Journey on Ice” with professional ice skaters in a wintery scene.
