Discovery Cove Orlando Florida Residents Ticket Prices 2024

Discovery Cove often runs special promotions for Florida residents and for 2024, admission prices are usually at least 20% less than those of non-residents.

Admission is strictly limited to around 1,300 guests per day and you must buy your ticket in advance, you cannot simply turn up on the day and hope to get in.

Admission includes breakfast, lunch and unlimited snacks and beverages plus complimentary use of snorkels, wetsuits, swim vests, towels, lockers, showers, sunscreen and changing rooms. Complimentary self-parking is available.

You can choose between two main packages, either with or without the dolphin swim. Children must be at least 6 years old to participate in the dolphin swim and those under 13 must be accompanied by a paying guardian.

The SeaVenture diving experience is a separately ticketed attraction and can only be purchased in conjunction with a regular Discovery Cove single-day package. Guests must be at least 10 years old to participate and those under 14 must be accompanied by a paying guardian.

The 14 days start when you visit the first park (including Discovery Cove). You can get free parking at the other three parks if you buy the Swim Package with a Three Parks ticket.

It is recommended that you book up well in advance if you plan to visit Discovery Cove around main holiday times like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Discovery Cove Florida Residents Ticket Prices for 2024

Discovery Cove has simplified its ticket offerings with a seasonal pricing structure but it is worth checking alternative dates as you can often get the same deal for less money on another date.

There is no separate pricing for adults and children, but children under the age of 6 cannot participate in the dolphin swim. Children aged 6 to 12 can swim with a dolphin but only if accompanied by an adult.

Children under the age of 3 are admitted for free but still need to make a reservation.

At first glance, the prices seem high but bear in mind the price includes all food and drink for the day and there are special deals on admission to SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. If you plan on visiting these other parks, then the Discovery Cove tickets can make sense, especially if you buy the swim package with three parks as you get free parking as well.

These prices are the standard ticket prices you would expect to pay at the gate (unless stated otherwise). Prices do not include local taxes and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
