Epcot Party for the Senses
As part of the annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Disney present an exclusive all-you-can-eat-and-drink “Party for the Senses” event at the World Showplace Events Pavilion where guests are treated to some of the finest cuisine that Disney has to offer with dozens of food and wine tasting stations plus craft cocktails and beers.
For 2017, Disney has tweaked their Party for the Senses event and is now offering guaranteed seating for all their guests. In previous years, seating was an optional paid extra.
This year the event is held on five Saturday nights with seating for all 1,000 guests including 120 seats in the Wine View Lounge.
The 2017 dates are September 23, October 7, 14 and 21 plus November 11 and the event runs from around 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The seating is arranged around eight show kitchens manned by Disney chefs, everything from intimate two seat tables to large communal 24 seat tables.
Two of the parties have special theming. The first event night focuses on the restaurants at Disney Springs including Frontera Cocina, Morimoto Asia, The BOATHOUSE, Paddlefish and Homecomin’. The event on October 21 showcases food from Disney properties around the world including Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, Shanghai Disney, Hong Kong Disneyland, Aulani and Disney Cruise Line as well as Walt Disney World.
As well as the food, there is also live entertainment from performers including the House of Blues Gospel Choir, Raglan Road musicians and Irish dancers, Nate and Aaron, Meraux Dantes, Nicholas Mark, John Pizzarelli, Femmes of Rock, Grace Kelly and Vintage Vinyl Band. Performers vary by night.
There are three levels of ticket to Party of the Senses, the cheapest at $179 per person, gives you a seat at one of the communal tables. For an extra $20 you can reserve a table just for your party giving you reserved seating together and early admission.
The most expensive ticket is for the Wine View Lounge at $329 which gives you early admission, a premium bar, artisanal cheeses and a speciality cocktail. It also places you closer to the stage and dance floor. You also get complimentary transport in one of Disney’s new Minnie Vans to and from the main entrance to the event site which is situated between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions.
All prices exclude tax but include gratuities. Note you also need a regular park admission ticket. All Party for the Senses guests receive reserved seating for either the 5:30 p.m. or 6:45 p.m. performances of the Eat to the Beat concert series on the same night, as a bonus.
