For the second year running, the “Frozen Summer Fun Live” event is running at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the summer of 2015.

On the back of the enormous box office success of Disney’s animated feature “Frozen”, Disney launched the new “Frozen Summer Fun Live” in 2014 and because of its popularity the event was extended beyond its original dates.

Between June 17 and September 7, 2015, a series of special “Frozen” attractions will showcase at Hollywood Studios featuring Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf the snowman. Most activities are included in the regular park admission but you can purchase a Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package (see below).

Please note that there are no character meet-and-greet at Hollywood Studios, you still need to visit the Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom to meet Anna and Elsa.

Why not cool down at the Frozen Summer Fun Live, highlights include:

Frozen Royal Welcome

Twice a day there is a royal procession along Hollywood Boulevard with Anna, Elsa and Kristoff. Anna rides in a horse-drawn sleigh with Elsa on an ice palace float. As well as the princesses, the parade also features ice skaters, skiers and ice cutters.

The parade will make two stops, the first on Hollywood Boulevard and the second by the Hyperion Theater next to Echo Lake.

For the First Time in Forever: A “Frozen” Sing-along Celebration

In the Hyperion Theater (formerly the home of the American Idol Experience at the Superstar Television Theater) there is a 20 minute production featuring lighting, projections and special effects whilst Anna, Elsa and the Royal Historians of Arendelle re-tell the story of Arendelle and you get the chance to sing along to songs from the film’s soundtrack.

The show is repeated multiple times each day.

Olaf’s Summer Cool Down

The lovable snowman Olaf and friends entertain the guests at the Event Stage.

“Coolest Summer Ever” Dance Party

A DJ and a live band perform nightly at the Event Stage playing classic and contemporary rock and roll hits plus a medley of tunes from the film.

“Frozen” Fireworks Spectacular

The day ends with a special fireworks display featuring Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf and set to the soundtrack of the movie with ice and snow flurries.

The following information relates to the 2014 event and Disney has not yet said if they will be appearing in 2015.

Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland

Soundstage One was transformed into a frozen winter wonderland. You could watch ice carvers create models of some of the Frozen characters from giant blocks of ice and see Oaken and his cousins on the ice rink. Guests could also rent skates and have a go themselves.

Children could enjoy various activities at the “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” area and there were plenty of photo opportunities.

There was also special merchandise available at the Trading Post and you could buy “Frozen” inspired food and beverages including sweet treats and hot cocoa.

When it was time to leave, you just had to look for the door marked “Sauna” and step back into the Florida heat!

Olaf on Summer Vacation

As part of the fireworks pre-show, images taken by guests in the park during the day were projected onto a large screen. You could look out for you very own “Take-Along Olaf”, take a photo with Olaf and then upload to social media with the hashtag #OlafSummerVacation for your chance to feature in the pre-show.
