Eyewitness Top 10 Miami & The Keys

The Eyewitness Top 10 Miami & The Keys, is one of over 200 Top 10 Travel Guides published by Dorling Kindersley as part of the Eyewitness Travel series and was originally written by Jeffery Kennedy who has also written a number of other Top 10 Travel Guides and Rough Guides.

Eyewitness Top 10 Miami & The Keys runs to some 160 pages and is split into three colour-coded sections. It contains over 80 top 10 lists, everything from the Top 10 Buildings in the Deco District to the Top 10 Beach Resorts.

The first section, Miami’s Top 10, covers the main Miami attractions including South Beach, Villa Vizcaya, Parks, Museums, Sporting Activities and further afield to Key West and the Everglades.

The second section, Around Miami and the Keys, takes you to places like Miami Beach, Little Havana, Coral Gables and Downtown. Each topic includes a suggested tour/itinerary plus places to eat and shop.

The final section, Streetsmart, provides practical information on subjects including getting to and getting around Miami, things to avoid, how to stay safe, tips for senior citizens and people with disabilities plus hotels, restaurants, with useful addresses and contact details.

This guide to the 10 best of everything, will help you decide what to see, buy, do, eat and avoid whilst vacationing in South Florida.

Where appropriate each entry includes a short description, the address, map reference, telephone number, admission charge information, price category and website address.

The information on attractions includes suggested age groups and any height restrictions.

Note that this guide book is typically re-published bi-annually so you can often pick up a bargain if you don’t mind a previous edition of Eyewitness Top 10 Miami & The Keys.
