If you live outside of the USA and plan on buying either DVDs, videos or console games like Playstation or X-Box games then you need to be aware of the different regions and formats used.
If you are visiting Florida from outside of the United States, then you need to be aware of some technology differences. For example DVDs and console games purchased in the US will typically not work on a European machine.
