The SeaWorld Wild Days weekends in 2016 take place on three consecutive weekends in late January/early February; namely on January 16/17, 23/24 and 30/31 with different guests for each weekend. Entertainment is included with the standard admission.
Wild Days help connect guests with animals and wildlife and feature some of the world leaders in animal conservation, rehabilitation, preservation and rescue plus interactive shows/parties, up-close animal encounters and trainer talks.
The first weekend (January 16 and 17) features the world-renowned “Jungle” Jack Hanna who will share stories about his experiences travelling the globe.
On the middle weekend (January 23 and 24) it is Penguin Lovers’ Weekend with SeaWorld’s Animal Ambassador Julie Scardina where you will get the chance to get up-close with penguins at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m..
The final weekend is “Sea Rescue” Weekend where guests can hear first-hand accounts of stories that are featured on the Saturday-morning ABC TV series "Sea Rescue”. Over the last 50 years more than 27,000 animals have been rescued.
All the guest shows take place in The Nautilus Theater.
Other events include interactive games, up-close experiences and learning sessions with SeaWorld’s animal experts at over 14 Explore Zones. Some of SeaWorld’s Animal Ambassadors will also be on hand to tell tales of survival.
On certain days there are also special dining package deals (priced separately):
- January 16 & 17 - Breakfast or Dinner with Jack Hanna at the Shark’s Underwater Grill. As well as the meal, guests can also listen to Jack Hanna entertain everyone with some animal facts, stories and answers questions. Guests will also receive one complimentary family photo and special reserved seats at his first show. Prices start at $49.00 plus tax
Children under 3 are free to the dining packages but require a reservation. Park admission is required, but not included.
