SeaWorld experiences and tours are available in a multitude of different options. These are “behind the scenes” tours and animal interactions. These generally range from one to seven hours, which can be purchased separately subject to availability and scheduling. Note that some of the tours have minimum age restrictions and tours are sometimes paused and replaced by other tours.

A portion of the tour admission is donated to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund to support research projects around the world.

For all Seaworld experiences, a regular park admission ticket is also required.

Along with the SeaWorld experiences and tours, they offer a number of different single and multi-park tickets as well as Florida residents tickets, annual passes, meal deals and Quick Queue passes.

For admission to SeaWorld Orlando, children under 3 are admitted for free but children from the ages of 3 and above must now purchase an adult ticket. There are no longer any child ticket prices at SeaWorld Orlando with the exception of meal deals and a few of the tours.

There are limited places on some SeaWorld experiences and tours so it is worth booking in advance to guarantee a place.

For most SeaWorld experiences, children aged 3 to 9 pay the same pric. Children under the age of 3 do not need a reservation.

For the animal encounters tours, groups may be combined from more than one party whereas the VIP tours are for a single party with a minimum of two people per tour.

It is recommended that guests who require special assistance should contact SeaWorld to discuss their specific needs prior to booking.

VIP Tours at SeaWorld

For the ultimate SeaWorld experience, you could consider a walking VIP Tour. Note that you also need to pay for normal park admission, it is not included in the tour price.

All guests aged 3 and over need to pay for the tour, children under 3 are free but still need a reservation. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

SeaWorld Orlando offer three different VIP tours ranging from four hours for the Private Tour, six hours for the Elite Tour and eight hours for the Ultimate Tour.

Each SeaWorld tour is for a group of between 2 and 12 guests and you should ring SeaWorld Orlando on 1–407–545–5550 at least 24 hours in advance to customise SeaWorld experiences. If you wish to have more than 12 guests then additional fees may apply.

All three tours receive the following benefits:

For Private Tours you also receive:

SeaWorld Experiences and Animal Interaction Ticket Prices for 2023

These prices are the standard ticket prices you would expect to pay at the gate (unless stated otherwise). Prices do not include local taxes and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Generally children under a certain age, which varies by tour, must be accompanied by a paying adult and at many of the tours there are opportunities to have your photo taken with the animals.

On some tours you are not allowed to use mobile phones or cameras whilst in the animal areas.

For all SeaWorld experiences and tours, reservations are recommended and there is a minimum of 24 hours cancellation policy. Late arrivals may miss out on some or all of their allotted tour.

Note that some tours are seasonal so always check with SeaWorld Orlando before booking.

SeaWorld Orlando Animal Experience Add-On Package
Enhance your tour with a printed photo (worth $20.00) and a medium sized plush toy (worth $17.99).

SeaWorld Orlando Dolphin Encounter
A 15 minute tour that includes an educational overview from one of the SeaWorld Orlando trainers plus a 3 to 5 minute personal encounter where you can touch one of the bottlenose dolphins.
Limited to around 10 guests per tour. Guests under 13 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.
SeaWorld Orlando Penguin Encounter
A 20 to 30 minute Penguin Encounter. Meet and touch a penguin and visit the Avian Research Center to learn more about penguins.
Limited to around 15 guests per tour. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Note that temperatures are around 60 °F, 15 °C
SeaWorld Orlando Walrus Encounter
A 30 minute Walrus Encounter at the Sea Lion and Otter Stadium. Meet and touch a walrus and learn more about how they are looked after.
Limited to around 12 guests per tour. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
SeaWorld Orlando Beluga Encounter
A 30 minute Beluga Encounter. Meet and a beluga and learn more about how they are looked after.

SeaWorld Orlando Dolphins Up-Close Tour
The 30 minute Dolphins Up-Close Tour allows you to see how SeaWorld Orlando care for their dolphins, participate in a training session and touch and feed a dolphin.
Limited to around 18 guests per tour. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Beluga Whales Up-Close Tour
The 60 minute Beluga Whales Up-Close Tour allows you interact with the whales and meet the experts who care for the animals and interact with them. There is an opportunity to feed and touch a whale.
Limited to around 12 guests per tour. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children must be 6 or older.
Killer Whale Up-Close Tour
An 45 minute up-close SeaWorld experience with SeaWorld Orlando’s killer whales with one of the SeaWorld Orlando trainers plus a photo opportunity.
Limited to around 20 guests per tour. Must be able to climb/descend stairs. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Sharks Up-Close Tour
Get a unique view of the shark aquarium from the top of the Shark Encounter tank, feed sharks and marine fish in the Shark Shallows and interact backstage with a small shark.
Limited to around 12 guests per tour. Must be able to climb/descend stairs. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Penguins Up-Close Tour
The 45 minute Penguins Up-Close Tour at Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin allows you to interact with penguins and see how SeaWorld Orlando care for the them. There are opportunities to touch the penguins and take photos.
Limited to around 12 guests per tour. Habitat temperature is around freezing with wet/uneven walking surfaces. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Sea Lions Up-Close Tour
The 60 minute Sea Lions Up-Close Tour lets you meet the starts of Sea Lion High as well as seeing how SeaWorld Orlando cares for the harbor seals and sea lions. You can also pose for a photo with one of the sea lions and help feed buckets of fish to dozens of sea lions and harbor seals at Pacific Point Preserve.

Rescue Tails Animal Meet & Greet – NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
Reserved seating at the new Rescue Tails show at the Seaport Theater followed by a 15 minute encounter with one of the rescued animals.

SeaWorld Rescue Tour
The 30 minute SeaWorld Rescue Tour introduces you to the work of the SeaWorld Rescue team who have now rescued over 39,000 animals. During the tour you will see how they look after rescued manatees and sea turtles.
Limited to around 6 guests per tour. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Behind the Scenes Up-Close Tour
The 75-minute Behind the Scenes Tour takes visitors behind the scenes for a look at the park’s animal rescue, rehabilitation and release efforts on manatees, sea turtles, birds and other animals. Guests have the rare opportunity to interact with a small shark and touch a penguin.
Limited to around 20 guests per tour. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
SeaWorld Orlando Family Adventure Tour
An ideal tour for families with young children aged 10 or less, the Family Adventure Tour lets you interact with young dolphins and their mums, meet and touch a warm weather penguin and meet and greet a friend in Sesame Street Land.
Limited to around 12 guests per tour. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
SeaWorld Orlando Private VIP Tour – NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
The SeaWorld Orlando Private VIP Tour is a private four hour walking tour that starts with preferred parking, expedited entry and includes reserved seats to one of the main shows, expert tips from knowledgeable guides and more. Includes a quick service meal.
Does not include park admission. Minimum of 2 guests up to a maximum of 12. Any guest under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
SeaWorld Orlando Elite VIP Tour – NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
The SeaWorld Orlando Elite VIP Tour is a private six hour walking tour that starts with preferred parking, expedited entry and includes reserved seats to two of the main shows, expert tips from knowledgeable guides and more. Includes all day dining.
Does not include park admission. Minimum of 2 guests. Any guest under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
SeaWorld Orlando Ultimate VIP Tour
The SeaWorld Orlando Ultimate VIP Tour is a private eight hour walking tour that starts with VIP Parking, expedited entry and includes Quick Queue Unlimited passes, Photo Key, reserved seats to three of the main shows, expert tips from knowledgeable guides and more. Includes a quick service meal, a dinner at Sharks Underwater Grill and meet & greets with Sea Lions, Orcas, Penguins and Dolphins.
Does not include park admission. Minimum of 2 guests. Any guest under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
