Welcome to our Universal Orlando Tickets UK visitor guide, where we share tips and best practices to help you get the most value for your money at the parks. Firstly, you can get special two and three-park holiday tickets if you purchase them in advance. These can represent really good value for money compared to the standard day tickets.
Universal Studios Florida® operates two theme parks in Orlando, Universal Studios Florida and the roller-coaster park, Islands of Adventure, and the Volcano Bay water park that replaces Wet n’ Wild and the music and entertainment venue, Universal CityWalk®.
Options for Universal Studios Orlando Tickets
Universal Studios used to sell one or two-day tickets that admitted you to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. From January 2010, they started selling their “U Select” pass, which gave you the choice of a single park or both parks for either one, two, three, four, or seven days of admission. This is similar to Disney’s “Magic Your Way” ticket system.
In 2011, the seven-day ticket was discontinued and replaced by a 14-day “length of stay” ticket for UK visitors only.
Our top tip for saving on Universal Studios Orlando Tickets for UK Visitors
For the best prices, you will want to compare a few sites. Tickets are available through Universal Studios authorized ticket reseller Attractiontix UK and the official Universal Studios site. It might even be worth comparing US ticket prices (in Dollars) as they can sometimes work out cheaper and offer different ticket options. Check the top tip below. They didn’t want you to know.
UK Prices
TOP TOP: You must purchase an unlimited access 2-week ticket from any UK site. With the US sites, you can buy one-day tickets! That may offer more flexibility for some people and a cheaper holiday if you don’t want to fork out for 14-day tickets.
UK visitor tickets only offer the “length of stay” two or three park-to-park access ticket options. The “park-to-park” option allows you to hop between the two parks on any given day, like Disney’s “hopper” add-on.
You can buy either:
- a Length of Stay Two Park Explorer Ticket to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure
- a Length of Stay Three Park Explorer Ticket to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay
- a One Day One Park Universal Express Pass to either Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure
- a One Day Two Park Universal Express Pass to both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure
You also get up to 14 consecutive calendar days of access to the paid venues at Universal CityWalk (excluding the AMC Universal Cineplex 20). Note that the Blue Man Group Show has now closed.
Like most Florida theme parks, anyone aged ten or over is considered an adult and must buy an adult ticket on the day of their first entry.
Children between 3 and 9 are classed as children and may purchase a child ticket. Children under the age of 3 are admitted for free.
Universal Orlando Tickets – UK Special Offers and Deals
Sometimes Universal Orlando runs special offer deals like offering special prices on multi-day tickets.
Now and then, they have special deals for UK visitors, like the one below:
- You can purchase a three-park length-of-stay Explorer ticket for the price of a two-park ticket, and you will receive free admission to Volcano Bay (Available at Attraction Tix).

You would expect to pay these prices in advance online in Pounds Sterling (they are not available at the gate). Prices include local taxes, and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
