There’s so much to see outside of the Theme Parks in Florida. We love visiting Kennedy Space Center, watching a live show, exploring all the State Parks and taking part in all the tours that are available. That’s not all though. Here we list just a few of the popular activity places in Florida for your consideration.
Florida really does have something for everyone; whether your idea of fun is to be entertained in one of the many theme parks, to sit on the miles upon miles of beautiful sands or explore further afield.
Florida is home to numerous theme and amusement parks like the Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando® Resort.
Florida also has wildlife parks like SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, many water parks, beautiful gardens like Bok Tower and all of the Florida State Parks.
Then you have a multitude of outdoor activities such as golf, surfing, wind-surfing, riding, hiking, cycling, fishing, deep-sea fishing, diving, canoeing, swimming with dolphins, hot air balloons and air boats plus thousands of miles of beautiful beaches.
In fact just about anything except skiing and mountain climbing!
Whether it’s playing sports or watching at a live sporting event, Florida has a lot of sports activities and teams to keep you entertained. Famous for it’s luxury golf courses and sports activities, you will have a great sports filled itinerary if you plan your trip well.
If you feel like something a little less energetic then there are spectator sports like American football, baseball, basketball, motor racing and even ice hockey.
