When purchasing an annual pass to more than one Florida park, it is important to choose the right park as your “home” membership park as some of the special benefits only relate to the “home” park and sometimes you can only buy the particular combination you require at a specific park.

For the ultimate pass, you might want to consider the Platinum pass which covers ten of the eleven SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment theme parks in the United States, not just Florida. The only exclusion is Discovery Cove but as a pass member you can get discounts.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Reservations

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, whilst capacity was limited, you could not get into the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay park without a specific date reservation, even if you had a multi-day ticket. Therefore you had to make an online reservation for each day you wished to visit.

In July 2021 this reservation restriction at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was lifted though Busch Gardens does sell certain date-specific tickets.

Even though Bronze passes have blackout dates, you can purchase discounted tickets if you wish to visit the parks during a blackout period.

With all annual passes some benefits only apply to the “home” park; i.e. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and for the Platinum Pass, only Florida parks.

Some special events like Howl O’Scream may not be included but pass holders are often offered discounts.

Busch Gardens pass holders receive guest ticket benefits, which allow them to bring friends or family to the park at a discounted rate or for free on select dates. All tiers get discounted guest tickets and all tiers apart from Bronze get free guest tickets to share.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Blockout Dates for Bronze Annual Passes

The Bronze Tier Busch Gardens Annual Pass is now the only pass that has blockout dates where admission is not available for that pass on specific dates. These dates typically correspond to peak periods or special events. Pass holders should check their pass type against the official annual pass calendar to determine which dates are not available for them to use their pass.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Parking

Busch Gardens offers general parking for cars, RV/campers and motorcycles. You can also upgrade to preferred parking which is closer to the main entrance.

The price of general parking for cars, motorcycles and RV/campers is $30.00 per day. Preferred parking starts at $35.00 per day and is subject to availability.

Annual Pass holders can park for free except for Bronze pass holders. Gold and Platinum pass holders get free preferred parking if available and Silver pass holders can upgrade for 50% of the difference in price between standard and preferred parking.

It is recommended that you purchase your parking ticket in advance to help with social distancing.
