Over the last couple of years, Walt Disney World has introduced an increasing number of “dining” and “dessert” packages.

Prices vary but are typically from $39 (for breakfast) up to $99 for adults, less for children aged 3 to 9. Some prices include tax and gratuities whereas others do not. Some packages are eligible for the Disney Dining Plan.

Most of the dining packages offer a meal plus access to one of the theme park attractions and/or reserved viewing for a show or parade. The choice of breakfast, lunch or dinner varies by package.

With the dessert parties, the idea is that you attend a dessert party (typically in the evening) and as well as a selection of snacks, desserts and drinks, you get priority/reserved access to one of the attractions and/or shows such as the evening fireworks or the afternoon parade.

A lot of the parties are seasonal and are only available on select dates.

As well as the price of the dining package or dessert party you also typically need an admission ticket to the appropriate theme park except for the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise which takes place on the Seven Seas Lagoon and is accessed from the Ticket and Transportation Center and the Highway in the Sky Dine Around package which takes place at the deluxe Resort Hotels around the Seven Seas Lagoon.
