Buying Legoland Florida Tickets

Legoland Florida operates on the site of the former Cypress Gardens and consists of two parks, Legoland Florida and Legoland Water Park. They offer both one day and two day tickets.

Though the Water Park is separate from Legoland Florida, tickets to the water park can only be purchased in conjunction with the main theme park as a “combo” ticket, they cannot be bought separately. It is seasonal and closes completely during the winter months.

In 2013, Legoland introduced their “Pick-a-Date” option which gives you up to a $15 discount on the gate prices if you buy your tickets in advance for a specified date.

Unlike most Central Florida theme parks, Legoland Florida is also not open every day. Their 2015 calendar shows Legoland Florida being closed on some Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the spring, autumn and winter periods.

In 2015 the Legoland Florida will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between January 6 and March 4 except for February 24 and 25. Throughout the rest of the spring and summer months it is open every day but then closes again on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between September 8 and December 9 except for Thanksgiving around November 24 and 25.

The Legoland Water Park opens in 2015 on March 21 and closes for the winter on October 31. Between April 18 and May 24 and between September 5 and October 25 it is only open on the weekends (Saturday/Sunday).

You should always check with Legoland Florida before making a trip as their calendar does change.

If you are a Florida resident, you can often get discounts and special privileges with a Florida residents ticket and there are a number of different annual passes available.

In July 2013, Legoland introduced a special VIP Experience for those who want something a little special with a more personal touch and priority access to the main attractions and shows.

Legoland caters for families with young children and is one of only a handful of parks that offers special birthday party tickets.

Legoland single and multi-park ticket options are:

As far as Legoland Florida is concerned, to buy a child ticket, the child must be aged between 3 and 12. Note that most other parks treat children over 10 as adults so at Legoland this is a bonus.

Children under 3 are admitted free and seniors aged 60 years or over can purchase a senior ticket (same price as a child).

If you are staying in Orlando and do not fancy the 40 mile drive to Legoland Florida in Winter Haven, then Legoland offer a roundtrip Shuttle bus service between I-Drive 360 on International Drive and the Legoland Florida park.

Note you can also buy special combination tickets to both Legoland Florida and the three new attractions at I-Drive 360; the Orlando Eye, the Orlando Sea Life Aquarium and Madame Tussauds Orlando.

Legoland Single and Multi-Park 2015 ticket prices

These prices are the standard ticket prices you would expect to pay at the gate (unless stated otherwise). Prices do not include local taxes and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All Florida’s theme park prices are subject to change and the prices and offers shown on this page were current at the time of publication.

Alternatives

Legoland Florida is one of the attractions that is part of the Special Edition Orlando GO CARD which also includes destinations such as SeaWorld, Gatorland and the Kennedy Space Center.

Interestingly, there is also talk of bundling ticket offers with competitors. The most obvious choice would be some kind of link with the Orlando FlexTicket which gives you admission to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Wet ’n Wild plus selected City Walk venues for 14 consecutive days plus optionally Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay.

Legoland has also introduced “front-of-line” passes like Disney’s FASTPASS and Universal Studios Express Plus Pass to avoid waiting in line. It is called a Hero Access Pass but at this time, the Hero Access Pass is not advertised on the Legoland Florida site.
