Each summer, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens run summer events and in 2017 both parks have revamped their offerings.

SeaWorld has changed the name from Summer Nights to Electric Ocean and for 2017 it was originally scheduled to run every night from June 17 to August 5. All entertainment is included in the standard park admission tickets.

SeaWorld subsequently extended Electric Ocean until September 3 (on select nights)

Last year it was called “Summer Nights Presents Summer of Mako” to celebrate the opening of the new Mako roller coaster ride.

The park is transformed at sunset with bioluminescent lighting, music and pathway entertainment.

New for 2017 is a dance party, “Club Sea Glow”, with live performers and DJ’s, suitable for all ages.

Pop

A brand new show, “Pop” is hosted by SeaWorld and Bubble Legendary® where bubble masters present the natural world through bubble artistry.

Reserved seating is available, starting at $10 for both adults and children.

Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up the Night

Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up the Night is a high energy killer whale show with original music and killer whale behaviours. This show replaces Shamu Rocks which ran for many years.

Sea Lions Tonite

The “Sea Lions Tonite” show features Clyde and Seamore plus the SeaWorld mime returns for a special show.

Roller Coasters

Ride SeaWorld’s roller coasters after dark including the floor less Kraken, the facedown head first Manta Ray and the brand new Mako, Orlando’s longest, tallest and fastest coaster.

Fireworks

In previous years there was a special fireworks and laser display, Reflections, each evening but new from 2013, the fireworks display took place behind the Shamu Stadium at the end of the nighttime Shamu show.

For 2017 the evening ends with a new fountain and fireworks show called “Ignite”.
