The weather in Key West and the Keys is almost ideal, being never too hot in the summer or too cool in the winter. Being surrounded by water, the sea breezes help combat the humidity in the summer months.
There is never a chance of frost, in fact the lowest temperature ever recorded for the Keys was 41°F in 1981.

The main rainy season runs from May to October but overall Key West has the least rainfall of all of Florida.
The hurricane season runs generally from late August to November but are rarely seen after late October.
