The cost of admission to the major theme parks in Florida soon adds up so you need to budget carefully when planning your vacation. Also don’t forget that most parks also charge you to park your car though many annual passes offer free standard parking.
In the table below you will see the standard 2019 gate prices for one day admission for adults and children plus car parking for many of the major Florida attractions. You can often save $10 to $20 per ticket if bought in advance online rather than at the gate on the day.
Most attractions regard any child over the age of nine as an adult and any child under the age of three is usually admitted for free. A few parks regard 6 to 12 year olds as children and some like SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay do not differentiate between adults and children when it comes to admission prices.
Buying one day admissions at the larger parks is not usually cost effective if you can buy multi-day multi-park tickets so bear that in mind when looking at prices. Also from February 2016, Disney introduced seasonal pricing for one day tickets to their four main theme parks and Universal followed suit with their two theme parks. From October 2018 Disney changed it to daily calendar based pricing for not only single day tickets but also multi-day tickets.
Florida residents can often get a better deal including annual passes and free visits.
